Silverburn Guided Walk

Silverburn Guided Walk

About

Join us for the Castletown Heritage Silverburn Guided Walk!

Whether you're a local history buff or just looking for a fun outing, this guided walk is perfect for all ages. Don't miss this opportunity to uncover the secrets of the Silverburn's past!

Explore the rich history of Silverburn with our knowledgeable guides. This in-person event will take place at the Silverdale Glen Café. Discover hidden gems, learn fascinating stories, and immerse yourself in the heritage of this charming area.

The walk is 4.5 miles and the terrain is generally flat and fairly even, though there is a stile, rough ground and steps over a small bridge, so is not suitable for buggies. We anticipate the walk will take about 2½ hours, depending on numbers.

If you wish to leave part way through, e.g. to continue alongside the river to Castletown, or to stop at the café in Ballasalla, that’s fine!

Meeting point: Silverdale Café, Silverdale Glen, Ballasalla, IM9 3DT
