To help you find the perfect place to eat, we have worked with businesses to launch six Taste Welcome Schemes that identify customer focused eateries to meet your needs, whatever the group size.

The development of the Walkers Welcome Scheme identifies walker-friendly eateries for visitors looking to grab a bite to eat after an outdoor adventure. There is no need to change out of your walking attire as these cafes, pubs and restaurants are well equipped for making walkers feel as comfortable as possible. Choosing a rest stop is never easy, but with our scheme you can ensure you find the right place for you. Many eateries feature drying facilities for wet equipment and boot scrapes to place your muddy footwear.

The Cyclists Welcome Scheme ensures that cyclists’ specific needs are catered for when they arrive for a meal. Businesses in the scheme are all committed to welcoming cyclists through their doors, featuring secure places to store your bike and facilities. Customers can also find out about the local area by checking out the map provided, and information on nearby attractions.
