With a variety of mountain bike trails carved into the colossal Manx hills, you will never get bored. Catering for all levels of ability and fitness these tracks combine skill with fun and adventure to produce an exciting experience. Located in a number of plantations, these trails can be easily combined to produce a longer day out. Southern plantations below Peel and Douglas are only separated by a few miles of Manx countryside, delivering fantastic views and speedy routes and rides.

Planning on bringing your bike to the Isle of Man? You’ll be pleased to know that your accommodation has a safe and secure place for you to store it, as well as your cycling gear/clothing. Each accommodation listed has been elected as part of the Cyclist Welcome Scheme, offering a variety of additional facilities and services to help make your stay more comfortable.

As part of the Cyclists Welcome Scheme, your host will be able to provide maps, guide books, and information on public transport to and from the start/finish points along your chosen routes. The local weather forecast will be provided daily together with details of local attractions and events to check out when you are taking a break from cycling.

In addition to a secure storage area you’ll find somewhere warm and dry to hang wet clothing overnight, facilities for washing your bike and equipment plus handy little extras like puncture repair kits and first aid kits.

Cycling on the Island is increasingly popular with both local people and visitors alike. Numerous events are held annually and the Island has an ever increasing list of notable cyclists competing on the international stage. So make sure to pack your gear, bring your bike and start exploring!
