Wrestle with the great outdoors and enjoy adrenaline fuelled activities like climbing, mountain biking or coasteering. If you prefer a more relaxed approach, sharpen your senses with a refreshing dip at one of the Island’s beaches.
Soak up Manx views by taking the Manx Electric Railway along the coast and up towards the Island's mighty mountain, Snaefell. The picturesque views and beautiful landscape are a photographer’s paradise.
Kick start your journey at the Point of Ayre in the North. The open, flat landscape of the northern plain, with its vibrant heather and sandy beaches provides a fantastic setting for a coastal walk.
Relax in the South at Scarlett Point; a place carved from rock formations. Dip your toes in cool water whilst gazing back towards Castletown and Derbyhaven. Walk out to Scarlett from Castletown or Gansey Bay and take in breath-taking coastal scenes. Alternatively, you can drive along the sea front to the conveniently positioned car park.
Why not try a spot of seal watching at the Sound? Watch the rise and fall of the Irish Sea as it hurls itself through the narrow channels between the main Island and the Calf of Man. And with the historic Manx crofters village of Cregneash being close by, who could complain?
