Important information for visitors regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19)
UPDATE 22.12.20
Visitors:
Travel restrictions remain in place and the Isle of Man is still currently unable to accept visitors (following the announcement made on Sunday 22nd March by Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK).
Please note: The Guernsey-Isle of Man air bridge – the self-isolation free travel between the Isle of Man and Guernsey – was suspended from the 23rd October. For further information on this, please click here.
We hope you can understand our position and ask for your continued patience as we continue with our exit from lockdown for the benefit of our residents. We look forward to welcoming you in the future when it is safe to do so.
Until then… Stay safe, stay extraordinary!
Returning residents:
The Isle of Man has moved to a modified version of level 4 in the Borders Framework.
This means that Isle of Man residents can travel freely as long as they have registered, and return to the island following the completion of a Landing Form, and providing they are not displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
People travelling to the Island will have to quarantine either at home or an approved location on arrival for the fourteen days self-isolation period. Arrivals on and after 00.01 hours on Wednesday 23 December 2020 will also have to have a test on arrival, on day 1 or 2, and then a second test on day 13, which would allow exit from self-isolation after day 14.
Anyone who resides in a household with someone who is self-isolating after travelling to the Island, will also have to self-isolate for the fourteen day period as a precaution.
For further information please read: Travel Advice
The Isle of Man Government's offer of a one-off contribution of up to £250 per person, per week towards the costs of finding alternative accommodation for self-isolation purposes is only available to those with a check-in date on or before the 31st December 2020.
Patient transfer frequent travellers with any concerns or queries regarding withdrawal of this support are encouraged to contact the Patient Transfer Office in the first instance. The details can be found on this website.
