Our Food and Drink Tours and Experiences are the perfect opportunity to discover how the Isle of Man is a melting pot of character and taste. Surrounded by the ocean and with much of the island unpopulated the quality of our home-grown or freshly caught produce is second to none.
In the fishing hotspot of Peel, you can tour a working factory that has been curing Manx kippers for over 100 years. Smoked kippers are famously featured in a Manx breakfast and you may find them served at your B&B.
The Isle of Man has also long taken its libations and tipples seriously. In 1874, anything other than the use of natural brewing ingredients - of water, yeast, hops and malt - became prohibited by breweries on the Isle of Man, making our ales famous for their purity and flavour.
Some of the award-winning Manx ales have been produced for 100 years and are served in many of the Island’s pubs. Choose a guided pub walk to sample some pints, visit the cellars and take in the sights around the town on your way.
In recent times, new craft distilleries and wineries have appeared on the Isle of Man scene offering guided tours and regular pop up events and experiences pairing great tasting food with their speciality beverages.
Cook with exceptional Manx produce at the Island's bespoke cookery school in the north of the island or sit back and enjoy a creative cooking demonstration in the south. Find out about our foodie roots by taking a guided farm tour while experiencing the stunning natural landscape of our countryside. You can also pick up some fresh local produce and beverages at regular Farmer's Markets and Food Assembly's taking place on the Island.
Whichever tour you choose, we’re sure you’ll see the passion of the growers and makers and discover the real character and taste of the Isle of Man.
