David has spent the last 15 years working on nature reserves for organisations such as Wildfowl and Wetland Trust, The National Trust and the RSPB.

Having spent the last four years as the Reserve Manager for the Manx BirdLife Point of Ayre National Reserve his talk aims to provide insight into the work done on the reserve and the role that nature reserves have to play in the wider conservation framework.

David will also be touching on the charity's newly acquired Manx BirdLife Langness Reserve.
