Magnet Mania: Little Engineers

Type:Family Event

Magnet Mania: Little Engineers

About

Use magnetic tiles to design, build, and test your own mechanical-style structures and working systems.

Think like an engineer as you explore how things connect, balance, and move. Build wheels, towers, and bridges.

There are no fixed rules. You decide what to build and how it works. Try ideas, rebuild, and improve as you go.

This relaxed session supports problem-solving, spatial thinking, and early engineering skills through play. It suits all ages, from younger children to adults who want to take part.

  • Build towers, bridges, wheels, and mechanical-inspired structures using magnetic tiles
  • Explore ideas inspired by engineering and movement
  • Open-ended creative play with no set instructions
  • Drop-in style activity for families and children
  • Experiment with balance, structure, and design thinking
