Since moving to the Isle of Man, I've been deeply inspired by this island – its rich culture, warm and welcoming people, and the incredible local products that truly set it apart.
As a chef at Babbages Bistro, I make it a priority to use as many Manx ingredients as possible – not just because they're excellent in quality, but because I believe in supporting our local farmers, producers, and creators.
But food is only one part of the story. The Isle of Man is home to talented artists, bakers, distillers, designers, jewellers, craftspeople, and makers of all kinds. And I've always dreamed of bringing them all together under one roof – to create something truly special for the community.
That dream is now becoming a reality.

Introducing the LOVE MANX FESTIVAL
Organised by Babbages Bistro and hosted at MVIC, this new seasonal indoor festival will celebrate all that's local – from food and drink to art, beauty, and design.
It will be a welcoming, inclusive event where everyone – no matter the size of their business or background – can showcase the heart, soul and creativity behind what they do.
Whether you're a seasoned local producer or just starting out, this is your chance to shine.

️ We're excited to announce that the festival space will include up to 72 individual exhibition stands in a warm, indoor setting at the Mountain View Innovation Centre.
You'll be part of a beautifully arranged market layout, with comfortable aisles, a central café area, and a dedicated team to help with logistics, cleanliness, and setup.
We plan to hold the Love Manx Festival four times a year – in spring, summer, autumn, and winter – with each edition showcasing a fresh seasonal theme and a new mix of vendors.
