Tours take place throughout the year and are a brilliant way to explore the Island’s rural views whatever the season. Depending on the time of year that you visit the Island, you could spot resident and visiting bird populations or marine creatures such as seals, dolphins or basking sharks.

Whether you choose to explore on foot or by boat, nature and wildlife tours can be organised through a number of companies from several locations on the Island. From the Island’s shoreline and seas you can take in the Island’s extensive coastline and abundant marine wildlife in all its glory.

The Travelling Naturalist runs exciting wildlife tours, including boat trips to see basking sharks, hen harriers, choughs, seals and more. Alternatively, Isle of Man Guided Tours run guided tours throughout the year letting you discover the coast, woodlands, historic sites, and places you might not find without local knowledge.

As the wildlife tours can be completely tailored to your interests, it’s up to you whereabouts on the Island you explore. You may find yourself observing the terns and gannets from the beach in Ramsey or watching minke whales and harbour porpoise swim near the shore in Laxey.
