About
Isle of Man Guided Tours and Adventures
Louise fell in love with the Island the first time she visited and is passionate about sharing its wonderfully diverse and abundant wildlife, history and heritage with other people. Originally from Lancashire Louise married Martyn, a Manxman, has two grown up children and has been proud to call the Island her home for the last thirty years.
It was her interest in the Natural World that first brought her here while studying at Liverpool University for a degree in Marine Biology. On arrival on the island, initially for one year, she specialised in rocky shores and birdlife and never left!
Louise’s interest in Celtic Christianity, coupled with her role as a Baptist Pastor, uniquely positions her to offer insightful tours focusing on the island’s Celtic Christianity heritage. Certified as a Blue Badge guide by The Manx Guild of Tourist Guides, Louise has completed a course in history and heritage at the local university whilst acquiring practical guiding skills to enhance the visitor experience.
Louise is enthusiastic about sharing her love for the Isle of Man through both tailored wildlife tours and captivating tours exploring the island's remarkable history and heritage. As a certified Blue Badge Guide, Louise offers a personalised experience driving you to iconic landmarks and lesser known gems that are inaccessible by public transport. Additionally, Louise provides a service as a step-on guide for car, minibus or coach tours, or can meet you at various sites to explore the wildlife or history and heritage.
