'The Dome' provides a state of the art immersive digital media technology. It is the most advanced digital planetarium and cinema theatre on the Isle of Man. With this innovative digital technology we aim to provide entertaining, educational and escapist experiences. A sensual exploration of art, science, ancestry, culture and the environment.

Tourists, visitors, the public, corporates, innovators, educators and students can benefit from the 360° digital interactive productions. It provides a fun teaching and visual environment and an unparalleled learning experience.

Immersive Full dome Cinema

Full dome refers to immersive dome-based 360 degree video projection environments. 'the Dome' is filled with real-time (interactive) or pre-rendered (linear) computer animations, live capture images, or composited environments.

Planetarium

A theatre built primarily for presenting educational and entertaining shows about astronomy and the night sky, or for training in celestial navigation and Dark Sky research. The Dome is everything a traditional planetarium can be. The very latest science and space shows, a 3D astronomical simulator and compatibility with well-known astronomical applications.
