166 reviewsThe source of the Laxey River is located on Snaefell, the Island’s highest peak. It rushes down the side of the mountain, eventually spilling into Laxey harbour. Each season during the autumn months, salmon make their way up the river.
This river flows down from Glen Rushen to the sea near the village of Glen Maye in the west of the island. There is also a long stretch of public fishing upstream of the village.
