About

Sartfell Cottage is a newly re-furbished Manx cottage on a hillside with spectacular views, and a large outside area for exercise that has been refurbished to a high standard for the discerning visitor (it includes disabled access). An environment to unplug and chill out is what this cosy, neat cottage provides. The ethos of the owners is one of low carbon living in stunning landscape, where visitors can de-stress by walking, cycling, bird watching or just sitting outside taking in the views.

It is situated on a mountainside and as such will have changeable and unpredictable weather. If self isolating, it would suit a guest who requires peace and tranquillity, with the option of walking about in the landscape thus remaining covid compliant. A guest who enjoys nature and is an enthusiastic bird watcher. WiFi available at request. We are trying to live sustainably so If you have any medical reason why you cannot lift our pellet bags which feed the boiler, please let us know in advance, and we will arrange to do it for you. We live next door, so if you need any assistance we are always available.

Ideal for keen ornithologists, particularly those interested in raptors, and for visitors keen to experience low carbon living. The cottage has views overland to the sea and beyond to Scotland and Ireland. Above the cottage, are the hills of Sartfell , a natural environment of heather and peat.
