Type:Guided Walk

(Pre-TT) Barrule to Barrule Challenge

About

Due to the overwhelming popularity of our April Challenge.

Join Walking.im on our Barrule to Barrule walking challenge on Saturday 25th May and enjoy some calm in the hills before the bike’s start whizzing!

Starting from the Round Table in the South of the Island, the route has been planned to get us to the summit of South Barrule to North Barrule via a variety of terrains including open uplands, footpaths, greenways, quiet country roads, plantations, and moorland paths.

The route will be approx. 21 miles in total with over 1000m of ascent with stops along the route to grab a coffee, a packed lunch and afternoon tea and cake.

Please wear sensible footwear (boots ideally), clothes to suit a variety of possible weather situations, it will be cooler in higher exposed areas, packed lunch, snacks, and water to keep you hydrated.

Its good days walking and you must be confident of your fitness for the distance and ascent but there will be plenty of opportunities to stop on what is a fantastic route – full of amazing views and a real achievement.

Own transport required.

Start: Just off the Round Table Crossroads at the junction of the Ronague/Whallag Rd
