National Treasures: Fantastic Finds from the Isle of Man

About

Join us for the first of Rushen Heritage Trust's new season of talks at the Erin Arts Centre.

Manx National Heritage's Curator of Archeology Allison Fox will delve into the fascinating stories surrounding the artefacts featured in the new exhibition at Peel's House of Manannan, which showcases the island's extraordinary collection of archaeological treasures, including Viking silver and gold from 1,000 years ago, plus rare 4,000-year-old Bronze Age jewellery.

Learn what these pieces might tell us about the people who left them behind, and the connection between Viking gold and the swinging sixties!

Tickets cost £7 (or £5 if you are a Friend of RHT) and are available from the EAC website (see link), Bridge Bookshop in Port Erin (cash only), or Rushen Heritage Centre in Bridson Street, Port Erin.
