Armed Forces Day 2026

Type:Show / Display

Armed Forces Day 2026

About

The Isle of Man's Armed Forces Day (AFD) 2026 is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community on the Island, from serving personnel to Service families, veterans and cadets. Centred on the Villa Marina and Gardens in Douglas, AFD takes place on Saturday 20 June 2026 and offers free access to all.

We are open to the public from 13:00-17:00 in the Villa Gardens and the day will feature several Armed Forces and Veterans' Charities stalls, a funfair, food and drink outlets and live entertainment.

The highlights will feature a Spitfire air display (subject to weather and serviceability) and a parade of serving military personnel, veterans, cadets and members of the emergency services marching along the Promenade from Regent Street to the Villa Marina, beginning at 14:00. There will be a complimentary buffet tea for all between 16:00-17:00 inside the Villa Marina and the Day will end at 17:00. There will be a separate social event in the evening specifically for the Armed Forces community, their friends and families.
