This walk gives you a glimpse into how the Victorians spent their holidays on the Isle of Man plus the (very important) opportunity to greet the Little People. Make sure to stop at the Great Camera Obscura on Douglas Head, where Risso Dolphins and Basking sharks may be spotted within the waters, during the summer months. Over the winter months, Bottlenose dolphins and Minke Whales may be sited.

Make sure to check the opening dates and times of the Great Camera Obscura before setting off on your walk. Typical opening months are between May and mid-September.

Advice and Safety Information

Leisurely - walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. The route will include un-surfaced rural paths and tracks. Walking boots and suitable clothing are recommended.
