Douglas Farmers' Market

Type:Farmers Market

Douglas Farmers' Market

About

Douglas Farmers' Market takes place on the second saturday of each month between April & November in Regent Street, Douglas, from 10am - 4pm.

The markets are organised by Isle of Farmers' Markets which is an affliation of people who wish to promote the growing, making and selling of Manx food and products. The Island has a rich history of markets through which Farmers and producers have traditionally sold their own produce. These markets were not only an essential source of food for the local community, they also a vital focal point for meeting and socialising.

Isle of Man Farmers' Markets is working to revive this tradition, both by promoting existing markets on the island and by assisting in the creation of further markets.

There are a number of markets around the Island, as well as special event hosted regularly.
