About

Manannan’s Cloak

Inspired by the legend of Manannan and the mythical shroud of mist that Manannan would throw over the island to protect us from seafaring enemies.

Manannan’s cloak is a Manx legend on a plate, showcasing the best of local seafood, most of which is landed on the quayside feet away from the restaurant. Representing the coast, King Scallop on a bed of crispy Manx kale (seaweed), local Niarbyl crab croquette, and local lobster, Manx sautéed potatoes (rugged cliffs), with a savory foam covering the dish representing Manannan’s cloak.
