Waves of Wonder Presents Portico Quartet

About

Portico Quartet to Headline Waves of Wonder Concert at Kings Court Theatre
With Support from Local Acts Kitterland & Soundology

Saturday 13th September 2025 | Kings Court Theatre, Castletown

The Isle of Man's live music scene is set for a special moment this September, as Waves of Wonder brings Mercury prize nominated and internationally renowned Portico Quartet to the Kings Court Theatre at King William's College, Castletown, for an evening of atmospheric, genre-blending performance.

Hailed for their immersive fusion of ambient jazz, electronic music, and minimalism, Portico Quartet's music has captured imaginations across the globe. This intimate concert offers island audiences a rare opportunity to experience their spellbinding sound live, right here on home soil.

The night will also shine a light on Manx musical talent, with support from two local favourites: Kitterland, whose improvised cinematic music using analogue synths, looping pedals, guitars, and voice have been making waves on the island, and Soundology, a sound artist who creates immersive sonic experiences with gongs and crystal bowls that transcend traditional sound bath practices.

Waves of Wonder, the local events organiser behind the concert, is dedicated to bringing extraordinary live experiences to the Isle of Man while nurturing and supporting the island's rich creative community.
