Pop up Event – The Corrib Singers

Pop up Event – The Corrib Singers

About

The Corrib Singers are a male voice choir from Headford, Co. Galway, visiting the Isle of Man as part of a cultural exchange between Celtic nations. The choir is known for relaxed, informal performances that combine traditional singing with spoken introductions and instrumental music. Their programme includes Irish folk songs, sea songs, hymns and mining songs, reflecting work, migration, and music across Celtic communities.

These short pop-up performances are free to attend and open to everyone. The choir is joined by musicians playing traditional instruments, with longer instrumental sections woven through the singing. The format is informal and welcoming, even if you do not usually attend choral concerts. Donations are welcome and will support Manx National Heritage. No booking required. Just stop, listen, and stay as long as you like.
