Pilates World Record Attempt

About

Pilates World Record Attempt & Wellness Festival

On Sunday, 19 July 2026, Ramsey Crookall, in collaboration with 34Moves and Visit Isle of Man, will bring people together at Knockaloe for an ambitious attempt to establish the world record for the largest Pilates class.

Be part of history. Be part of a world record attempt.

This landmark event will also mark a global Pilates homecoming to the Isle of Man, reconnecting the Pilates movement with the place where Joseph Pilates began shaping the principles that would later inspire millions around the world.

Event details:

Date: Sunday 19 July 2026

Location: Knockaloe, Isle of Man

Event open to the public: 10:00am to 5:00pm

World Record Attempt: 2:00pm to 2:30pm

Wellness Festival & Charity Village: Open throughout the day

Who can take part: Beginners, experienced Pilates participants, families, visitors, and community groups

Current record to beat: 3,486 participants

Charity focus: All ticket sale proceeds will go to Isle of Man charities

The world record attempt will be an inclusive 30-minute Pilates class led by experienced instructors from around the world. Whether you are completely new to Pilates or already practise regularly, this is your opportunity to move together, celebrate community, and help place the Isle of Man on the world stage.

Come for the record. Stay for the experience.

Alongside the record attempt, the Wellness Festival & Charity Village will showcase local charities, community organisations, wellness providers, food and activities. It will be a vibrant day out for both locals and visitors, while shining a spotlight on the work of charities across the Isle of Man.

All ticket sale proceeds from the event will go to Isle of Man charities, creating a meaningful legacy that extends beyond the record attempt itself.

Join us at Knockaloe on Sunday, 19 July 2026, and be part of something extraordinary.
