Manx Electric Railway - Taster Driving Experiences

About

Try your hand at driving a historic Manx Electric Railway tramcar!

The Manx Electric Railway first opened on the 7th September 1893. All of our tramcars are now over 120 years old and this experience allows you the rare opportunity to drive one under the guidance of one of our experienced Motorman.

The taster sessions operate between Laxey and Lewaigue, passing along the cliff tops 588 feet above the sea at Bulgham Bay and through the scenic farmland of Maughold Parish.
