Les Misérables

About

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo, adapted by Carl Parker

While this dramatisation is not the musical version, our production promises to be a tour de force of storytelling, that will resonate with both fans of the novel and those who love the musical, shedding new light on the timeless themes of justice, redemption, and love that have made Les Misérables a literary classic.

The story follows the journey of Jean Valjean, a former convict who seeks to rebuild his life while pursued by the ruthless Inspector Javert after breaking parole.

He makes a solemn vow to care for Cosette, Fantine's beloved daughter, following her tragic demise, Jean Valjean finds himself drawn into the turbulent world of a group of fervent revolutionaries who are tirelessly fighting for social justice.

Through their struggles and sacrifices, the characters of Les Misérables come to embody the human spirit’s enduring capacity for compassion and resilience in the face of adversity.

Experience the timeless tale of Les Misérables, a riveting saga of hope, redemption, and love set amidst the tumultuous backdrop of revolutionary France, where passion, struggle, and the pursuit of justice collide.

Parker & Snell Company's Les Misérables promises to be a production that audiences won't want to miss!
