Distance: 9 km / 5.8 miles

Start: Glen Mona Station
Finish: Laxey Station

A steep but rewarding walk taking you across open moorland before descending to the disused Snaefell Mines. A pleasant track then takes you through the valley running parallel with the Snaefell Mountain Railway as you descend into the charming village of Laxey.

Advice and Safety Information

Stony steep track for 0.5 miles.

Strenuous - walks for experienced country walkers and a very good level of fitness. The route will include some hills and rough country. Walking boots and suitable clothing are essential.
