Road Directions

To reach the Cringle from Douglas, take the A5 New Castletown Road then turn right at the large roundabout at the junction with the A24 Cooil Road. After passing Chibbanagh Plantation on the left, take the left turn towards St Marks.

On reaching St Marks continue forward over the junction on to the small road opposite then turn right onto the B30 and follow to the A3 Ballamodha Straight.  Turn right onto the Ballamodha Straight.  After approximately 2 km turn left onto the B39 Ronague Rd.  Follow until you reach the Cringle Reservoir on your right.

Reservoir fishing season (10 Mar 2020 - 31 Jan 2021)

* In summer (10th March – 31st Oct.) there is a four fish bag limit (two for a concessionary season licence) while in winter there is a two fish limit for all licence holders. Barbless hooks must be used in winter. The reservoir is closed to fishing from 1st February to 9th March (inclusive).
