The Nest is a one bedroom apartment located in a convenient central area of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man. The apartment is cosy and stylish, and eminently practical. It is completely self-contained, and benefits from its own on-site parking space, a rarity in the area!

Ideal for a couple or solo traveller, the location of this apartment is also great for business travellers to the Isle of Man, being so close to the heart of the islands main business area. The property features a comfortable lounge, king-sized bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

Just a few minutes walk away, the Isle of Man's 10,000 year history is presented through film, galleries and interactive displays at the Manx Museum. In addition, many amenities such as the Gaiety Theatre, Villa Marina, cinema, promenade, pubs and restaurants, are all located close by.

The owners live in the apartment above, so will be on hand if needed.

Road Directions

The Nest is located at 2 York Road, Douglas.

From the Sea Terminal, drive along Douglas Prom,then  turn left at the Villa Marina.

This leads you up Broadway, keep going until you see a zebra crossing, then turn left after the crossing.

This is York Road. 

The Nest is up a flight of external wooden stairs on the side of 2 York Road, which is the first house on the left.

Public Transport Directions

The Nest is well located in a central area of Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man.

The Nest comes with its own on-site parking space.

It takes around 10 minutes to walk into Douglas town centre.

Douglas Promenade, the Manx Museum, and entertainment venues such as the Villa Marina and the Gaiety Theatre are within easy walking distance.

There are several bus stops nearby, one almost outside the door.

A small convenience store and a pharmacy are a short stroll away.

Taxis are easily available.
