About

Corner Cottage.

A two bedroomed cottage comfortably sleeps 4 people, situated in the heart of old Peel.

It is ideally situated with pubs, restaurants, a marina, beach and shops all within a minute's walk. The TT course is within a 5 minutes' drive away. The Cottage is in a quiet, pedestrianised area of Peel.

All bedding and towels are provided and electricity/hot water/heating is included in the rate.

Other things to note -  Corner Cottage in church lane dates back to the 18th century. It is a traditional Manx cottage nestling in a quiet pedestrianised lane in the heart of Peel’s conservation area. Many of the original features of the cottage remain and blend in well with the modern facilities.

On the ground floor is the lounge with wooden sash windows. It is comfortably furnished and has freeview television. There is also a cupboard which houses many games and jigsaws that guests are welcome to use during their stay. WIFI is also provided. A modern, fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, wine fridge, coffee machine, oven and hob. The kitchen also has a Bluetooth radio. The washer/dryer and gas boiler are also situated in the kitchen, providing instant hot water and heating There is also a small utility area just adjacent to the back entrance to complete the ground floor. A travel cot and highchair are available upon request. Comfortable, safe stairs provide access to the upper floor where there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with a modern shower room and toilet. The bedrooms can either be configured as a superking size bedroom and double bedroom, or as a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The property does have a step to enter the property and the bedrooms are on the first floor, therefore not suitable guests requiring wheelchair access and street level access.

Corner cottage is a non smoking property and we do not allow pets.

The Cottage is only walking distance from pubs, restaurants, marina, beaches, ancient castle and working harbour where the local fishing boats can be seen landing their catch. Peel castle can be seen from the property, along with glorious views of Peel hill. You could take a walk around the castle sit and witness the beautiful sunsets for which Peel is famous for or embark on one of the many coastal footpath walks which boast spectacular views. A bus stop is located near to the property and gives the opportunity to explore island wide, Peel being the ideal location as your base. The world famous TT course is only 4 miles away.
