The space

This modern, bright and comfortable self-catering unit offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday on the Isle of Man. Located in a stunning spot overlooking Port Erin Bay, the property and garden are south facing, enjoying beautiful views across the sea to Port Erin beach and all the way down the coast to the Calf of Man.

The unit comprises the ground floor of a family home and has its own independent entrance, accessed via 15 steps (with handrail and lighting).

The accommodation consists of an open-plan dining kitchen/ lounge and a double bedroom (can be made up as a twin if requested) with en-suite dressing room and bathroom.

The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge (with freezer compartment), electric oven, 4 ring induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetière, utensils, crockery and cutlery. The dining table can seat 4 people and outdoor furniture is available should you wish to eat on the patio. Please note that the garden and patio are shared with the owners.

The lounge area has a sofa, 49" curved TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player. Free WiFi is available.

The bedroom has a super king double bed with bedside tables and plenty of drawer/hanging space for clothes. There is a hairdryer. Bedding is provided.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over it, basin with mirrored cabinet (with shaver socket and light), toilet and heated towel radiator. Towels are provided for the bathroom. The towels must NOT be taken out of the unit and are not for beach/swimming use.

A travel cot and high chair are available upon request. Cot bedding is NOT included. Children's toys and DVDs are also available, as well as plastic crockery etc in the kitchen.

A parking space is available at the property if required for a car/motorbikes.

From the property there is direct access to Bradda Glen where you will find a cafe/bar/restaurant, a small children's playground and stunning coastal paths leading up to Bradda Head, down to a stony beach and along to Port Erin village. A 15 minute walk will take you into the heart of Port Erin where you will find shops, supermarkets, laundrette, pubs, cafes, restaurants, a beautiful sandy beach, bus stop and the steam railway station.

The owners speak Spanish and some basic French.

 

Guest access

Guests have access to the garden, patio and play area which are shared with the host family.

 

Interaction with guests

Hosts live on site, in a separate area, and are available to help if needed but will not invade privacy.

 

Other things to note

The hosts have two cats which cannot access the flat, unless guests leave windows/doors wide open.

We ask that guests pay a breakage/damage deposit of £50 (cash/cheque) on arrival, which will be returned on departure if not required for repairs/replacements.

Check in time may be flexible (on request).
