Barnagh Farm - Accessibility Statement

About

1 Barnagh Barn can be found nestled at the end of a 600 yard farm lane off the A3 Kirk Michael to Ramsey Road at Rhen Cullen where a very warm Manx welcome awaits our guests.  In it's slightly elevated position it delivers spectacular 360 degree views.  The sunsets have to be seen to be believed and never fail to delight us. Rabbits and Hares, birds of prey, together with pheasants wandering through our garden and the field behind the barn are a common sight

The Barn has recently undergone a complete conversion and whilst it still retains its yester-year external charm the interior has been given a sympathetic but ultra-modern makeover.

The 1st floor is the main living accommodation with a large sitting/dining room and a generous galley style kitchen/utility.  The ground floor has 2 bedrooms with zip & link super king beds which can be seperated into 4 seperate beds depending on what is required.  An ample walk-in shower room, entrance hall and stairs up to the 1st floor complete the accommodation.

Oil fired underfloor heating throughout; together with a wood burning stove in the main living area make it a very cosy place to curl up with a good book, play a game or while away the hours with a jigsaw on a wet and windy day.  Flat screen TV with Sky and Wifi are also included.

Whether you come for the TT, MGP, Hill or Glen walking, cycling, golfing, bird watching, fishing, stargazing or come to explore the 10,000 year history of this beautiful Island we think this is an ideal base at any time of year from where your adventures can begin.

We are just a mile away from a long sandy beach, half a mile away from the village of Kirk Michael and its amenities including a Pub serving food daily, Village shop, Post Office, Chemist, Tea rooms and Butcher.

The bus stops at the end of the lane; why not leave your car and go explore the island by bus.
