Balley Cashtal Beg

About

Balley Cashtal Beg, which is Manx Gaelic for 'Little Castletown', is a town within a town in the south of the island! There are over 70 Fairy doors to find.

Explore the Ancient Capital of Mann and see if you can find where the Little People live as you search for the bright and colourful fairy doors, which form a permanent trail around town. You will find doors for Bowling Green Pixies, Carnival Fairies, the Seafarers and many more! Collect your map leaflets, free of charge, from the Town Hall, Castletown Steam Railway Station, the Bowling Green Cafe, Craftworks studio, or many other local businesses and begin your adventure! Or you can view the maps online here - https://www.eveadams.art/balley-cashtal-beg-maps

Wherever there’s a star on the map, you’ll find a fairy door hidden away, somewhere roundabout and due to their size, be sure to hunt around for them. If you’re quick, you might even spot the little folk who live there! Some doors are very well hidden indeed!

Find Balley Cashtal Beg on Facebook to keep up to date with the antics of the little folk, find out who's new in town, and for details of special events!
