Visiting the Isle of Man - key things to know

Endfield House - By The Sea

Type:Self-Catering

The Promenade, Port St Mary

About

Stay By The Sea at Endfield House - a spacious, comfortable two-storey apartment, looking south over Chapel Bay, Port St Mary, on the Isle of Man. Available all year-round for self-catering holidays. It is a 2 minute stroll to the sandy beach (accessible when the tide is out), and is close to transportation for all island events. There are many eco-tourism attractions on the island: walking, hiking, climbing, sea-diving, kayaking, fishing, boat tours etc. Of course there is super-fast broadband and tv, plenty of books if the weather happens to be miserable with a view that is ever-changing.

Endfield House is accessible up 11 entrance steps via its own private entrance. There are four bedrooms, all with very comfy beds, two full bathrooms (one en-suite) and sleeps 7 comfortably. (plus sofa-bed if needed in the sitting room).

In the master bedroom there is a super-king sized bed (180 x 200 x 75 cm) with a wonderful sea view. The single bedroom next to it can either be a bedroom with a sea view or a dressing room.

The middle bedroom has a king-sized bed, 150 x 190 x 60 cm. The bedroom to the rear of the property is a super king sized bed 180 x 200 x 65 cm, or can be made up as twin beds. These two bedrooms have a view to the rear, where you can see South Barrule from a distance looking over the houses and fields beyond.

There is a fully-equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, convection oven and microwave; a dish-washer, under counter fridge with ice box. In the utility a washing machine and tumble-dryer, ironing facilities and a larder fridge - and beyond a small WC.  The separate dining room provides seating for at least eight, with heavy French oak table and chairs as well as bench seating. The sitting room is spacious with a large sofa and sofa-bed if required. There is a circular oak table with chairs in the wide bay window, a place to have a cuppa and enjoy the spectacular views across the beautiful harbour and out to sea.

There is covered parking for one vehicle at the rear of the property. On street parking and a public car park 2 minutes walk up the Promenade. Bicycles can be safely kept in the courtyard.

The charming village of Port St Mary is 5 minutes walk from the house, with shops, restaurants, pub and other local amenities.  There is public transportation also a few minutes walk and an easy drive to nearby Ronaldsway Airport and a little further to Douglas and the ferry terminal.

Booking can be via Airbnb (search By The Sea Isle of Man) or the website, which you can find here.
