Shakespeare at the Castle - Macbeth

About

Shakespeare Castle Tour 2026: Macbeth, Peel Castle
Enter a world where prophecy breathes on the wind and ambition turns to blood. This summer, Shakespeare's Macbeth erupts into life within the towering, battle-scarred walls of Peel Castle – a fortress of stone and shadow that could not offer a more powerful stage for this dark and devastating tragedy.

On Saturday 25th July at 6pm, witness one of Shakespeare's most electrifying plays in a setting as fierce and elemental as the story itself as the American Drama Group -Europe and TNT Theatre Britain return.

As dusk descends and the sea crashes against the rocks below, the tale of vaulting ambition, ruthless desire and haunting guilt unfolds in breath-taking surroundings. From the chilling prophecies of the witches to the unravelling of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, expect thunderous drama, supernatural tension and language that cuts to the bone.

Bring a blanket or low-backed chair, gather your bravest companions, and prepare for an unforgettable evening of open-air theatre beneath the Isle of Man sky.

Secure your ticket for what promises to be a spellbinding summer spectacle.
