About
Join us in celebrating the longest running carnival on the Isle of Man, Peel Carnival, now in its 74th year! Our vibrant and exciting carnival brings together the community for a day filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
This year’s carnival is on Sunday 2nd August 2026, and takes place along East Quay, The Promenade and Peel beach’s vibrant seaside. The fun will officially kick off at 10am and festivities will wrap up at around 6pm.
What you can expect on the day…
The Grand Parade:
Don’t miss the highlight of the carnival! The Grand Parade features colourful floats, talented performers, and a showcase of creativity and community pride. Look out for the Oie Voaldyn performers adding their special brand of magic. The parade starts at 2pm with a classic car parade.
Live Entertainment:
The Carnival is taking over Peel Beach Stage for the day, so you can enjoy performances from local Manx bands and artists throughout the day. On the Promenade there are performances from a steel pan band, a brass band and a Bubbleologist! You’ll have to come along to find out what that is, but we can safely say there is something for everyone.
Food and Drink:
Along with our excellent local food vendors, we will have some visiting vendors offering special treats for the day.
Stalls:
Come and do some shopping amongst the stalls filled with handmade goods, toys and so much more.
The Biggest Sandcastle Competition:
Win some epic prizes sponsored by Davisons and Peel Fisheries when entering the sandcastle competition on the beach. Kicking off at 10am, judging at 1pm.
