Gods, Dragons & the Natural World: The Art of the Viking Age

About

In Rushen Heritage Trust's latest talk at Erin Arts Centre, join Dr Fenella Bazin RBV for a fascinating look at the art of the Vikings. Ornate gold and silver, wood and stone carvings as well as beautiful personal ornaments give a vivid insight into the world of the Viking Age, highlighting their trading routes, occupations and everyday lives.

Fenella has spent many years delving into the story of the Viking Age, particularly the role of women and the work of the creative artists of the time.

Tickets: £7 (£5 Friends of RHT) available from EAC (see link).
Also at Rushen Heritage Centre, Bridson Street, Port Erin & Bridge Bookshop (cash only) in Port Erin.
