Built in 1972, the Cornaa Fish Farm (Lag Vollagh Freshwater Fish Hatchery) is located in Maughold at the Ballaglass Glen on the east coast of the Island. The Island’s recreational reservoir fishery, has an excellent reputation among resident and visiting anglers for quality fishing in picturesque surroundings.

The farm is open to the public during school holidays with dates and times being subject to weather conditions and operational restrictions. These open days are advertised at a range of advertising platforms, including the Fisheries Facebook site that provides current times and dates. Parking is available in the Ballaglass Glen car park allowing visitors to take a short walk down to the farm as parking is limited.
