Listen to the dusk bird chorus, be on the lookout for bats and discover the magical world of moths as we put out a light trap and investigate what has flown in. Start and finish at Herring Tower Car Park – https://maps.app.goo.gl/mEuLFLdXSHQNaaRe7 and What3Words – https://w3w.co/accomplished.skidding.rhinos

Approx. 2 mile walk on grass paths with some uneven terrain. Bring a torch; walking shoes are recommended. Binoculars and bat detectors available to borrow but you are welcome to bring your own. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Hot drinks and biscuits provided during the moth trap investigation.
