Bat Walk at Silverdale Glen

Type:Wildlife/Nature

Bat Walk at Silverdale Glen

About

An introductory talk about bats followed by a walk around Silverdale Glen where we hope you will see and, with the aid of a bat detector, hear bats. The event will last around 2 hours. Please wear sensible shoes as some of the paths we will be walking on will be a bit rough. Please note that we are walking in the dark, but would ask that attendees refrain from using torches as this will ruin people's night vision and spoil your experience.

The event is weather dependent and will be cancelled if it is raining or too cold / windy. Cancelation will be published on the Manx Bat Group Facebook page no later than 18:30 on the day of the walk, so please check the page before setting out if the weather looks unsuitable. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For more information contact: info@manxbatgroup.org.
