About
A narrow and rather overgrown 5 acre glen, being one of the few glens left to develop without intervention. Paths and bridges are cleared and maintained, but the rest is the responsibility of nature. There is plenty of wild beauty to enjoy, with waterfalls in sight and the Colby River running through it. Note the paths are narrow dirt tracks and not very easy to walk along in places. There is a grassy area at one end of the glen for picnics or games. This area is sheltered by trees.
Access to the glen is by car, bus or by alighting at the Colby Halt on the Isle of Man steam railway.
