Two Train Summer Sundays

About

☀️ Two-Train Summer Sundays ☀️

Step back into the golden age of seaside holidays and railway romance on our Two-Train Summer Sundays, when the Groudle Glen Railway comes alive just as it did in its tourism heyday!

On July 19th, July 26th, August 16th, August 23rd, and August 30th, enjoy the rare and wonderful sight of Sea Lion and Brown Bear running together on the same day. Watch in delight as the two historic steam locomotives pass one another at Headland Loop, whistles echoing through the glen and smiles all around.

It's a truly magical experience for families, photographers, and railway enthusiasts alike — full of rhythm, nostalgia, and that unmistakable summer sparkle. Whether you're riding the rails or waving from the platform, there's something unforgettable about seeing two steam trains dancing along the line together.
