About

Ballafreer Farm Cottages consist of 4 cottages which are nestling in the peaceful countryside in a superb location central to the island. It provides a wonderful base for exploring the island as only minutes away from Douglas and 15 minutes from Peel.

Situated up a long private lane amongst 100 acres of farmland and private gardens, these beautiful four star cottages are very secluded, yet only a mile from the village shop and local pub. There is ample room for parking.

Converted from old Manx Stone Barn to the highest of standards. All four cottages have been awarded a four star rating and have the following facilities:

    - Washer/dryer, microwave, fridge, oven, four ring hob
    - Toaster, kettle
    - 42 inch TV with FreeSat channels & FreeWIFI
    - Dining Table
    - Double sofa bed in the living room
    - Bed linen and towels (bath and hand towel per person)
    - Airing cupboard, iron & ironing board
    - Hairdryer
    - Off-road parking

Please note all cottages are non-smoking and sorry no pets permitted.

You will have the peace of mind of knowing that the farm cottages are under the personal supervision of resident owners Andy and Leanne Quayle who live in the adjacent farmhouse.

Road Directions

From the Sea Terminal follow the A1, signposted towards  PEEL. Continue on  A1  through Union Mills when past the Spar shop on right hand side .Turn right onto Ballafreer Farm Lane and we are about half a mile up that lane.

From the Airport, follow the A5 to  Ballasalla, then  A7 to A3 crossroads. Bear right up the A3 towards  Ramsey, passing through Foxdale to the Ballacraine traffic lights (A1 ) Turn right towards Douglas, follow this road until you come to ballagarey traffic lights and then half away down the ballahutchin hill there a turning for ballafreer farm lane and we are at the top of there.
