Nobles Park

About

Noble's Park is a beautiful, well maintained park, located in upper Douglas. You will find the plenty of activities and facilites on site to keep everyone entertained from sports courts to a bowling green, children's playground for tots and juniors plus a BMX track and skatepark.

In the late spring and summer, The Splash Zone measuring 144 square metres, has 14 spray and soaker features and offers tremendous interactive fun. There are 2 changing rooms and plenty of picnic benches for you to sit and chill whilst your children cool off.

The park is also mapped for orienteering.for Peo (Per-Olof) Bengtsson, of World Wide Orienteering Promotion and an International Orienteering competitor. The aim of Orienteering is to navigate in sequence around a course of control points marked on a unique orienteering map. The challenge is to use the map to decide the best route to each control point and then to navigate the course.

Find out more and download the orienteering map here. You will find the permanently fixed orienteering control markers placed on fences, lamp-posts, walls and at different locations around Nobles Park.

Why not get involved with the weekly 5km Nobles parkrun, take your dog around the dedicated off leash walking area or enjoy the exercise equipment dotted around the park.

The park also features ornamental gardens and a Victorian bandstand - a stage for some seasonal performances.
