This leisurely walk is a section of the Raad ny Foillan coastal footpath, offering some of the best coastal walks in the British Isles. Be accompanied by species of birds and the occasional seal, whilst on route, as well as taking in the spectaular views the Island has to offer. Start your walk at the Point of Ayre Lighthouse and follow the route along the sand and shingle to the finishing location of Ramsey Harbour. Make sure to take time exploring the many attractions that Ramsey has to offer, inlcuding Mooragh Park - perfect for children to explore.

Advice and Safety Information

Please check tide timetable before setting off as access is restricted at high tide. The footpaths you will be walking on are near the foot of the impressive sand cliffs of Bride and Shellag Point. Don't go too close as they are actively eroding.

Leisurely - walks for reasonably fit people with at least a little country walking experience. The route will include un-surfaced rural paths and tracks. Walking boots and suitable clothing are recommended.
