Aer Varrey Holiday Apartment

About

Aer Varrey, meaning "Sea Air" when translated from Manx Gaelic, is a bright and modernised first floor apartment with attractive decor. The magnificent panoramic sea view is hard to beat! Take in Peel Castle and the surrounding Peel Bay, and when the conditions are right, you can see as far west as the Mourne Mountains of Northern Ireland! There is also a view of Peel Hill from the kitchen, which is a lovely coastal walk come rain or shine.

The apartment is only a short distance from the heart of Peel, making it a perfect base to explore all that Peel has to offer!

Aer Varrey sleeps three people in two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the lounge means a fourth person can be accommodated on request.

The apartment offers a bright, spacious living area, a modern kitchen and bathroom. Street parking is available outside to the front or side of the property.

Peel is a small seaside town on the islands west coast. Enjoying stunning sunsets Peel is locally known as the sunset city, and boasts the Isle of Man's only cathedral. A working fishing port, in Peel you can still see Kippers, fish that has been split from tail to head and smoked being cured in the traditional manner at Moores Kipper Yard. In addition to Peel Castle, the House of Manannan provides a fascinating insight into the history of the Isle of Man, from the Viking past to exploring 19th century Peel with a walk around the sailmakers loft, chandlers shop, quayside, complete with sights and smells from the Manx kipper yard, and uncover the importance of the sea to the lives of the people on the Isle of Man.
