About

Stables Cottage nestles on a hill side amidst farmland, enjoying spectacular views over the Central Valley, Greeba.  The location gives easy access from the Ferry Terminal, Airport or the comprehensive all-Island Bus service, being ideal for exploring the whole Island.

Constructed of unique Manx stone some 150 years ago, with olde world beamed ceilings, now comprises one double en-suite bedroom, sitting room with dining area and kitchen, all accommodation being on one level.

The Cottage is tastefully furnished to a high standard, with fitted carpets, gas central heating, colour television, DVD player and mains radio.  The refurbished fully fitted kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and automatic washing machine and is completely equipped with cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery and cleaning products.

The en-suite bathroom is of good size with a walk-in full height shower, basin and toilet. Bath and hand towels, together with all bed linen is provided.

Approached off A1, the cottage is set well up from the road, with parking right outside your door, next to your private garden and patio area.

A Welcome Pack of fresh fruit, tea, sugar, Manx milk, butter, eggs and bread await your arrival.

Well behaved Dogs are welcome, and can enjoy our large, mown, fully enclosed field adjacent to the property.

The owners live close by Cronk Dhoo Cottage to give assistance if required on where to go and what to see.

Road Directions

From the Sea Terminal follow the A1, signposted towards  PEEL. Continue on  A1  through Glen Vine, and Crosby to Greeba.Turn right onto uphill concrete driveway---- signed  Vale House, Cronk Dhoo Cottage, Stables Cottage.

From the Airport, follow the A5 to  Ballasalla, then  A7 to A3 crossroads. Bear right up the A3 towards  Ramsey, passing through Foxdale to the Ballacraine traffic lights (A1 ) Turn right towards Douglas, on entering  Greeba turn left up driveway signed as above.

Sea Terminal,  From the Bus Station take any bus towards  PEEL  ----5 5A 5C 5J   6 6A 6C.  to   Greeba  (Cronk Dhoo ) bus stop.

Airport,  Bus to Douglas 1 1H 2 2A 11 12 12A. then onwards as above.
