About

Ard Cottages (Ard Beg, Ard Lee and Ard Mor) are three cottages located on a quiet cobbled street in Castletown, the ancient capital of the Isle of Man. Just around the corner you will see the impressive medieval Castle Rushen once home to the Kings and Lords of Mann.

Castletown is situated around a small, attractive harbour and has a good selection of local shops, pubs and restaurants. Aside from Castle Rushen, there are three other Manx National Heritage sites in Castletown - The Old House of Keys, The Nautical Museum & The Old Grammar School all within a 5 minute walk from the cottage.

The cottages are also just a five minute walk away from the Billown road racing circuit which hosts the Southern 100 races in July, as well as the Pre and Post TT Races.

Ronaldsway Airport is easily accessible, approximately a 5 minute drive away and Douglas Ferry Terminal approximately 20 minutes drive away. Taxis are available outside the airport terminal and Douglas sea terminal.

With access to public transport only a 5 minute walk away the cottages are ideal for those travelling without a car to explore the Island.

These cottages are managed by local self catering holiday acommodation company Island Escapes.
