The campaign - The Extraordinary Story - celebrates and promotes all that is special about the Isle of Man and its UNESCO Biosphere status, helping to provide a real 'sense of place'.
The ‘Extraordinary is… an Island like no other’ chapter of the campaign extends the work done in 2022 and emphasises the Island’s uniqueness through its rich heritage and culture, and beautiful natural landscapes which provide a playground for visitors of all ages.
The campaign demonstrates the extraordinary experiences available in any season on the Isle of Man. Avid adventurers can take on activities such as coastal and uplands hiking, kayaking and mountain biking, conquering the Island’s breath-taking trails over land and sea. A 10,000-year history provides plenty in the way of heritage and culture, with the Island offering ancient monuments, medieval castles, vintage railways and unique, living traditions.
We have updated our toolkit specifically for you to amplify your business within the campaign. It will provide you with practical information on how you can get involved through your own channels, including key messages and image use.
The media library holds all our updated stunning high-definition photos to support the campaign and provide you with free to use assets.
For the first time, we have created two specialist videos targeted at key audiences to showcase both the traditional cultural offering and the more adventurous activities on offer. We worked with local artist Ben Donaldson from the Voodoo Bandits who created a bespoke piece of music for the videos – we hope you like it as much as we do!
