Take a walk along Douglas Promenade and discover its fascinating history from the Victorian era through to present day. From one of the finest examples of a Victorian theatre still in existence to the only horse tram service still in use in the northern hemisphere, there is lots to discover on this short yet intriguing route.
The walk will take around 30 minutes - 1 hour, depending on stops taken, and there are many pubs, hotels, restaurants and cafes on the route for you to enjoy. Buses run frequently in both directions and in the summer, you can take the horse tram across the Promenade as well.
