About

The Island’s cultural and Tynwald exhibition centre is a great way for all ages to find out about just what makes the Isle of Man Manx.

In the centre, you can find out about 'thing sites' like Tynwald around the world, look at old photos of St John's, find out about calendar customs, see how Tynwald works, and check out our Lego model of Tynwald Day.

Younger visitors can choose from colouring-in, dressing up and building Lego to add to the model.

There's much more about Manx culture in our language and music room, which features an amazing mural by Manx artist, Adam Berry.

Take some time to explore our short films or sit and read some of our books. The centre is the perfect starting point for a visit of the historic Tynwald Hill and Royal Chapel.

We also have a gift shop selling books and CDs relating to Manx history and culture - and specialise in publications on Manx language and music.
